Independent Evaluation in the Field of Culinary Arts, Restaurant Operations & Hospitality Management

From January 15, 2026 through June 25, 2026, Yevhenii Moliako, an experienced culinary professional and restaurant operations specialist, served as a member of the Independent Expert Commission of the Quality Mark Business Excellence Award.
Within the framework of the Award, he was appointed as an Expert Judge responsible for conducting independent professional evaluations in the category of Excellence in Culinary Arts, Restaurant Operations & Hospitality Management.
This role required the objective assessment of professionals working across the culinary and hospitality industries, including restaurant executives, executive chefs, hospitality managers, and business leaders whose work demonstrates excellence in restaurant operations, culinary innovation, service quality, and professional leadership.
The Quality Mark Business Excellence Award is an independent professional recognition program that evaluates businesses and professionals through a structured expert review process. Members of the Independent Expert Commission are selected based on their professional achievements, practical industry experience, and recognized expertise within their respective fields.
Mr. Moliako was invited to join the Commission based on more than fifteen years of professional experience in the international restaurant industry. Throughout his career, he has held senior culinary leadership positions in Canada, Ireland, and Ukraine, successfully managing restaurant operations, leading professional kitchen teams, developing menus, implementing quality standards, and overseeing complex food service operations.
His practical expertise extends across multiple culinary traditions, including European, Italian, French, Greek, Ukrainian, Mediterranean, and contemporary cuisine, together with extensive experience in restaurant management, operational planning, food safety, staff development, and hospitality leadership.
During his service on the Independent Expert Commission, Mr. Moliako independently reviewed fifteen (15) professional applications submitted by candidates representing the United States, Canada, Italy, Ireland, Ukraine, and Poland.
The evaluation process included the assessment of professional competence, culinary excellence, operational management, leadership, innovation, customer service standards, business performance, and overall contribution to the hospitality industry. Each application was reviewed independently using the official evaluation methodology and scoring system of the Quality Mark Business Excellence Award.
Throughout the judging process, Mr. Moliako maintained the principles of independence, objectivity, confidentiality, and professional ethics required of every member of the Independent Expert Commission. His evaluations formed part of the Award’s structured expert review process and contributed to the identification of professionals demonstrating outstanding achievements within the culinary and hospitality sectors.
Participation as an Expert Judge reflects institutional recognition of Mr. Moliako’s professional qualifications, extensive industry experience, and trusted ability to evaluate the work of other professionals according to established standards of excellence.
